Tour Plan
Start your excursion with a transfer from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. You
then take the winding road of the Atlas Mountains through the Tichka Pass,
peaking at 2,260 meters, admiring the picturesque landscapes along the way.
Your first stop will be at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site,
remarkable example of the traditional architecture of the Moroccan south. After this visit, you
continue to Ouarzazate to discover the famous film studios and the Kasbah of Taourirt.
You will have lunch on site before continuing to Skoura for a photo break at the palm grove, then
towards the Valley of Roses. The day ends at the Dades Gorges where you will have dinner and spend the
overnight in a comfortable hotel.
After a breakfast at the hotel, cross the Dades Valley and admire the rock formations
spectacular, nicknamed “monkey’s toes”. Leaving the valley, you will discover the
impressive Todra Gorge, where you can walk under red cliffs of 300 meters
from above, popular with climbers from all over the world.
Your adventure continues to Erfoud and Rissani, where you will have lunch before reaching Merzouga. To
when you arrive, camels will be waiting for you for a memorable ride at sunset.
Spend the night under the stars or in a traditional Berber nomadic tent in the desert in Erg
Chebbi.
Wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise in the desert, followed by a small
lunch. Return quietly to the village of Merzouga, admiring the majestic dunes
d’erg Chebbi. After a refreshing shower at the hostel, we will take the road to Ouarzazate
by visiting the villages of Rissani and Tinjdad along the way.
Have lunch in a restaurant in Ouarzazate before taking the road back to Marrakech, crossing
again the Tizi n’Tichka pass. You will be taken back to your hotel or riad at the end of the day.
